JOSE CHACON
Jose is a Venezuelan-Spanish actor, who after living and working in Sydney for the past ten years, now proudly calls Australia home.
Speaking both English and Spanish fluently, his cultural heritage brings a unique perspective and energy to his roles on stage and screen.
His training includes the NIDA Screen Actors Studio, where he developed a rich knowledge of, and extensive skill set in, the fundamentals of acting- training in the Stanislavski System. This included intensive training in voice, movement, improvisation, script analysis and character development. His training also encompasses the more technical elements of acting for screen and he marries his love of self expression with the requirements of the screen together to create memorable performances.
Further training includes NIDA Stage Actors Studio (expanding his work for the live performance environment) as well as NIDA Extension Actors Studio- an advanced course for industry professionals.
His acting work is nourished by a continuous sense of adventure, reading, drawing, writing, sharing stories and enjoying life on Sydney’s Eastern Beaches.
