A performer at heart, Nehir fell in love with the vibrant stage at a young age, with a childhood coloured with exuberant performances. Growing up between Turkey and Australia, she’s had to chance to appear on stage in English, Turkish and French.
Nehir began her professional career recently by completing her Diploma in Acting at the Academy of Film Theatre and Television in Sydney. During her time at AFTT, Nehir has discovered her powerful ability to deeply connect with her characters and bring to life their rich emotional landscape.
Nehir is drawn to passionate characters who aren’t afraid to expose their vulnerabilities and took the stage with a heartfelt rendition of Anna in Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina. Since graduation, Nehir has worked on several independent feature films where she explored playing diverse and compelling characters. She now continues her studies at the Sydney Acting Studio under the watchful eyes of Kevin Jackson, Travis McMahon, Adam Dunn and Hunter McMahon.
With her current studies, Nehir is driven to hone her craft and exhilarated to explore brilliant playwrights and gripping scenes.
