EMMA McCARTHY

Emma’s passion for acting comes from a lifelong love for the performing arts, having started singing and guitar lessons at the age of 9 and not long after, realising her appreciation for film and acting. All throughout High School, Emma was heavily involved in her schools Creative and Performing Arts programs including the Creative and Performing Arts New York Tour in 2018, where she was given the opportunity to attend workshops led by international industry professionals as well as perform in some of New York City’s biggest venues.

Emma has since trained at NIDA, completing the Screen Actors Studio course and continues her studies at NIDA this year with Screen Acting Techniques. Through her time at NIDA, working with experienced tutors and likeminded students, her drive and love for acting has flourished. Emma is determined to continue learning and growing as an actor as she works towards her goals.
