Ryan Marano
Dedication, passion and versatility describes Ryan Marano. Currently residing on Whadjuk Noongar boodjar, Ryan is an Actor with over ten year of performance experience. A down to earth artist, Ryan enjoys collaborating in any performance medium. He's even done several 360 films with the UWA Social Impact Festival (2017) & the WA Screen Academy (2018). When Ryan works on a project, he throws everything he's got in to it. A graduate of WAAPA's BPA: Performance Making Course (2016), his training includes: Broadcasting, Commedia dell’arte, Physical Theatre, Stanislavsky, Stage Combat, Suzuki, Improvisation, and Writing. Ryan's recent projects include: Do I Look Like I Care (State Theatre Centre, 2021), A Nought For A Cross (Subiaco Arts Centre, 2021), and Heretics (2021) a new medieval film by local film maker Adon Blake. A proactive artist, Ryan is also a practiced Theatre Producer & Podcaster (The Perthian Chronicles) and once content maker for 720 ABC Radio Perth & WA. His awards & acknowledgments includes: Artist in Resident recipient from the Mundaring Arts Centre for both 2019 and 2020, and being made a 2018/2019 MATCH Lab participant for Creative Partnerships Australia.
