George Stewart
George is a hard-working and determined young actor who is eager to make his mark in the acting world, looking to prove himself and challenge his ability to pursue and attack any role that he is given.
Gaining experience throughout his high school career, George was able to discover his love of acting through the Hale School production company Redfoot Youth Theatre, allowing him to perform as an extra-curricular activity, as well as having performances throughout both the General and ATAR pathways.
Upon finishing high school George had the opportunity to attend and complete the Diploma of Acting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. In this time he was able to ‘tackle’ roles in Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information, Bertolt Brecht’s The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, and William Shakespeare’s The Tempest, as well as multiple smaller performances directed, written and performed by the students of the course. George continues to develop his abilities as an actor by completing short workshops with both WAAPA and WAYTCO, and also has been cast in a feature length film In Living Memory that hopes to begin filming in 2023.
