Des Riley

Des is a retired former business owner with an extensive media career comprising journalism, advertising and public affairs/relations consultancy. He was the co-founder of one of Perth’s largest and most acknowledged consultancies between 1996 and 2018.

Additional to his earlier fashion and general merchandise modelling, Des has scripted, directed and/or participated in numerous marketing and corporate videos. He has run dozens of general and crisis media training programs for CEOs and executives of local and national corporations, while also role-playing journalists and the public in training and simulated crisis exercises.

He is an active sportsperson nowadays helming/crewing keel racing yachts on the Swan River and Perth coast. Prior to this he was a windsurfer, board rider, lacrosse and tennis player.
