Christyan Costea

A dynamic, dedicated and versatile performer, he began nurturing his craft from a young age and has remained unwavering in his commitment to acting ever since. He completed his studies at John Curtin College of the Arts on a scholarship for Specialist Drama, where his talent and work ethic quickly became evident. While there, he also excelled in media studies and was invited to join the Specialist Media program; however, his passion for acting and being in front of the camera kept him loyal to his Specialist Drama stream.
After high school, he deepened his understanding of screen production by completing a Certificate IV in Film and Television at TAFE and went on to work with Channel 9 for a period of time, gaining valuable on-set experience, including in the newsroom. Ultimately, his heart remained with performance, leading him to secure representation with then-titled Actors Now. As a young actor he booked numerous roles, including a television commercial for a stop smoking campaign, further cementing his love for storytelling on screen. With a solid foundation in both performance and screen production, he brings a focused, professional and collaborative presence to every project he joins.
