SAGUN BHANDARI
A focused and committed young screen performer, Sagun Bhandari began his acting journey at the age of seven. Now based in Perth, Sagun moved to Australia from Nepal as a young child and quickly developed a strong interest in film and dramatic storytelling, leading him to pursue professional training in screen acting alongside musical theatre.
Sagun has trained extensively in screen acting, including completing Junior Professional Screen Acting (Year 2) at FilmBites Screen Academy, with additional drama training through Drama for Kids WA and Ali Roberts Studio. His training has developed a strong foundation in naturalistic performance, emotional truth, listening skills, and working confidently on camera.
His screen credits include a supporting role in the film Alma (dir. Paula Ximena Roa Ayala), a child lead role in the web series Tales Around the Tables – “Don’t Let Me In”, and appearances in short film projects including Dead Bees and Treasure Maps and Cat Tin Spaghetti. He has also gained professional on-set experience as a background performer in a Warner Bros production, further strengthening his understanding of large-scale film sets and industry workflow.
In addition to his screen work, Sagun has a strong background in musical theatre and live performance. He is currently undertaking professional vocal training and guitar lessons, which support his musicality, timing, and emotional expression. He has appeared in stage productions including Our Fox Has Lost His Socks and The Play, contributing to his confidence, discipline, and versatility as a performer.
Professional, reliable, and well supported by his family, Sagun balances his acting commitments responsibly alongside his education and is keen to continue developing his career across film, television drama, and musical-based screen projects.
