PIERS MACKENZIE

Born in Hong Kong and educated in Asia, Australia, and England, Piers MacKenzie has experience in theatre, film, and television. He has performed extensively in the UK and Europe, including a 32-show run of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Stratford-upon-Avon, a three-month UK & European tour of Twelfth Night, and garnered critical acclaim in the titular role of Midnight Circle Theatre’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, earning him a nomination alongside Andrew Scott and Joseph Fiennes for Broadway World’s Best Lead Performer in a New Production 2023 Award.

Piers recently completed filming a lead role in the Mollywood Feature Film Little Hearts, scheduled for a global release in late January 2024. He has also received an Adelaide Fringe Grant for his upcoming original show, Artificial Ignorance, where he takes on the roles of producer, director, and performer, and has been selected for Blue Rooms Theatre’s 600-Second Program, featuring his solo show titled Courier.
