Knowe Rata

Knowe Rata completed a Diploma of Screen Performance at WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts).

Throughout his time at WAAPA and beyond, Knowe has been a strong and passionate presence in the craft of performance. He has worked in a range of short films including:
- 'Acid Dreams' (as Elliot, dir. Adam McDowell),
- 'Cross My Mind' (as Felix, dir. Iris Van Veenen),
- 'The Other Loss' (as Lachy, dir. Haley Johnson),
- 'The Bench' (as Don, dir. Eugene Gokson),
- 'The Art of Devotion' (as Vincent, dir. Matthew Perez),
- 'Stay or Leave' (as Owen, dir. Susan Daniel),
- and 'Listen' (as Adam, dir. Stewart Hannah).

Knowe made his television debut in the Paramount Plus series *One Night* (2023), playing the role of Billy under the direction of Catherine Millar.

He is determined to bring fresh and authentic performances to screen, and is deeply grateful to be doing this kind of work.
