In the past few years Charlie has thrown himself headlong into the world of both theatre and screen acting, to realise his long-sought dream of a career as an actor. He has performed in a variety of short films and across many companies in Perth, with his most notable roles being that of Oskar in ‘Let the Right One In’ (Harbour Theatre, 2020), Pete in ‘A Clockwork Orange (Life on Hold Productions, 2018) Kaa in the ‘Jungle Book’ (Playlovers, 2017) and was cast as Travi in the independent feature film ‘The Light’ (2017)
Charlie was fortunate enough to be offered a partial scholarship to study at the Atlantic Acting School for their Summer Intensive program (2017). During the 6 weeks he spent there his knowledge of varying theatrical/acting styles has grown enormously, and he now feels like he has a better equipped quiver of tools to use in creating a character. Charlie has taken up jobs in improv murder mysteries with Cluedunnit Australia and bartending since graduating Mercedes College (2013) as a means of being able to pursue and achieve the thing he is most passionate about – acting.
