Anne Paterson
Originally from Melbourne, Anne has been prolifically involved in the Perth acting scene since 2011 which has seen her cast as Sidney in Prospero Production’s The Hunt, 2015 as the CEO in Down the Lizard Hole, and several award winning student films including as the Roadhouse owner in Pale Blue Eyes, winner of WASA’s Best Student film, 2015 and People’s choice Award at the Colossal Shorts Film Festival. She has played a goblin in an action fight-scene web series to a psychiatrist and a variety of patients/carers and doctor Voice Overs for University medical videos. Anne has also been cast in web-series and television series including Super Dingo, Similar & Familiar, The Great Mint Swindle, a P&N TVC, Factory 293, The Silent City FF, Artistic Agony, Infected Paradise, Post Wives Club, Assassin, an Ultimat Vodka prize-winning commercial, WASA’s Juliet, Graduation Afternoon, The War that Changed Us, The Manuscript and as The Angry Mother in Don’t be Jerk, a finalist in the Don’t be seduced by Antibiotics short film competition, June 2015. Anne enjoys working as crew (The Bear@WAAPA), modelled and keeps fit with beach walks, the gym, stair running, tennis and swimming. She attends acting workshops and co-founded a NOR writers’ group. Anne was awarded a PhD in 2004 and casts well as a confident executive, lawyer, doctor and school Principal, etc.
