SARAH THILLAGARATNAM
Sarah is a theatre and screen actor from Western Australia and has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Journalism and Film & TV, as well as a postgraduate qualification in Literature. She has had training in Singing, Fencing and Kung Fu.
She featured in the short sci-fi film Mingler (2022) and an advertising campaign for Crown Resort and Casino.
She was cast in the lead roles of Alex the Squire in sword-fighting comedy The Search For Merlin’s Staff (2022), and Bagheera the Panther in Jungle Book The Musical (2021) and has has performed in numerous Shakespeare productions.
Sarah took on the roles of Mrs Bennet and Miss Anne De Bourgh in the comedic version of Pride and Prejudice (2023); the Leader of the Amazon warriors in Peter Pan (2020); Kim Kardashian in Cinderella the pantomime (2021); and performed in Dead By The Minute as part of the 2021 Fringe Festival. She has performed in the Gilbert & Sullivan operettas The Mikado (2019) and The Sorcerer (2021), as well as the musical Oklahoma (2017). She performed in August Osage County which won Best Play at the 2019 Independent Theatre Awards.
