PIPPA TOIA - JOHNSTON
A unique, creative and diverse performer, Pippa has emerged from the country farm life in the small town of Boyanup, to be a resounding and multi-disciplinary artist. Making her own pathways in entertainment and styling, after graduating from WAAPA in 2017 with a Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Bachelor in Performing Arts, majoring in Music, Productions and Marketing. Proving to be a popping yet poised personality with the ability to immerse herself into any role presented.
Over the years, whilst networking with fellow Artists and industry professionals, Pippa has been involved in many aspects of performance making, contributing her talents both behind the scene and on stage. Spanning from Drag shows to live lounge singing sets, children’s story times and theatre as well as dance ensembles and recorded television. She is the founder and owner of ‘The Dream BIG Salon’ providing extravagant styled wigs, costume props and head-pieces for other notable performers and herself.
Working predominantly as a sole trader, she has been able to sustain herself as a Queer Artist for nearly a decade and has featured at FringeWorld, Connections Nightclub, Crown and The Court to name a few. Pippa has a passion and dedicated ability to a multitude of creative arts, she is always exuberant at the opportunity to expand her crafts further and is now looking to evolve further with her new found self confidence in her identity.
