Liz Connors

Liz is a mature, confident and versatile character actor, with a career spanning 30 years. Liz began her journey in 1991 at the Peter Breck Academy in Vancouver (Canada), furthering her education and training at Carousel Theatre, followed by full-time professional training at the world renowned William Davis Centre for Actors Study, movement training at the Actors Movement Studio in New York, Shakespeare studies at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) before finally coming home to Australia where she graduated with Honors from VCA (Postgraduate Diploma/Actor Training Methodologies) and La Trobe University (Graduate Diploma Dramatic Art). Liz is also a qualified acting and movement coach and has taught acting and movement in Canada, the United States and Australia in the Northern Territory, Queensland and Victoria. She has worked with Directors Peter Helliar in her role on the ABC’s “It’s a Date” series, Shirley Barrett in the feature film ‘Walk the Talk, and Tom Conyers in the award winning feature film ‘The Caretaker’. She has trained in stage combat and can bust a pretty mean fight scene if she needs to. Liz now resides in Perth, WA but is free to travel wherever the role is nationally, or internationally. She is a down to earth actor who has made the most of every role with a focused and committed presence to pursuing her career in the performing arts.
