Versatile, multidimensional and filled with determination, Shadab has lived an expansive and eclectic life. Being born in war-torn Afghanistan as a persecuted minority (Hazara Afghan), Shadab grew up in the UNHCR refugee camps of Pakistan.
Coming to Australia at the age of 10, Shadab navigated the challenges of immigration with incredible resilience and fortitude, transforming into a multidimensional individual with the ability to adapt to and overcome any situation. Shadab has honed his unique life experiences and is apply them to acting, where he transforms into the necessary character to thrive under fictional scenarios, just like he has been doing all his life.
Shadab has worked in films, televisions, commercials, music videos and is an active role play actor for Victoria Police and Eastern Health hospitals. Shadab is currently studying Film & Screen studies at Monash University. Shadab is an adept martial artist, dancer and horseback rider. He can speak fluently in English, Dari, Persian (Farsi), Urdu and Hindi.
A fun fact about Shadab: his family is from a tribe that are direct descendants of Hulagu Khan – the grandson of Ghengis Khan.
