Tyson Jarvis

A versatile, passionate, and driven Australian actor, Tyson Jarvis began his acting
journey at the age of 23. Originally from Colac and now based in Ballarat, Tyson has
built a reputation for bringing grit, authenticity, and emotional depth to his
performances across film and television.

Tyson has trained extensively in screen acting, completing programs with the National
Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Melbourne, including Screen Acting 1 and 2 under
the guidance of Nicholas Coughlan. He further honed his craft in the United States,
studying at the Hollywood Acting Workshop in Beverly Hills, where he developed a
global perspective on performance and industry standards.

On screen, Tyson has delivered leading roles in a range of projects, including James
Gibson (2025), Rest Stop (2025, adapted from Stephen King), and the animated short
I’ll Come Back For You (2025, FilmHub/Tubi). His previous credits span shorts,
features, and television, including Private Sales (Crime Thriller, New Zealand Son
Films) where he played Billy, Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS (2014),
and an uncredited role in The King’s Daughter (2022). Tyson has also performed
internationally in comedy, appearing in a Jimmy Kimmel Live comedy sketch (2016).
Known for his adaptability, Tyson has portrayed everything from intense dramatic
leads to grounded, everyman characters, while maintaining a strong commitment to
his craft. With skills in accents (American, English), physical performance (basketball, boxing, footy, cricket, stunts), and weapons/combat training, he brings both versatility and professionalism to every project.
