Callum O'Mara

Talent can only get you so far but ambition, now that can take you to endless possibilities’. Having a diploma of acting at the Western Australian Academy of performing Arts. Callum is an ambitious, passionate, versatile and a driven performer. Born and raised on the coast of Western Australia, he set out his Acting Career in the early years of High school. Attending Sacred Heart College, he took part in the musical production of Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere) and Bye Bye Birdie (Harvey Johnson), as well as numerous short films, such as ‘our life’ (which he directed) and the music video ‘iplayyoulisten’. Always being keen on self-improvement and mastering the craft, Callum learnt a foundation of acting tools from accent work to character building at WAAPA, and gaining experience in theatre performances such as “love and information”, “The Crucible”, as well as numerous showcase’s that the institution offered throughout the year.
He has gained a lot of experience in the industry, being in Steve Kerr’s latest short film ‘What you leave behind”, Charmaine Murray's Tafe film “house of content” and shooting an internal video for the HBF company.
Callum is a person that will always put in 110 percent and will bring something unique and nuance to the floor. He takes feedback and criticism well, being able to adapt to suit a directors/writers vision. Staying positive, grasping every opportunity and to seize the moment.
