Ebony is a dynamic, and energetic actor who has trained extensively in multiple disciplines across the performing arts. Originally from Brisbane, Ebony trained with Harvest Rain, and Zen Zen Zo before moving to Victoria to pursue higher education.
Ebony is an alumni of Fed Uni’s Arts Academy Ballarat (formerly BAPA), having graduated from Music Theatre in 2017. At university her credits include Ursula Merkle in Bye Bye Birdie, and Mrs. Cohen in RENT. Since graduating she has focused largely on childrens theatre, performing in In Helvetica’s My Brown Paper Clouds, and in Rudolf’s Recruits, and Mr Huff for Meerkat Productions. Additionally, since July 2018 Ebony has been a touring member of The Flying Bookworm Theatre Company. As a Bookworm, she performs Shakespeare and storybook shows in schools throughout Australia.
Outside of her work in theatre in education, Ebony co-wrote the cabaret Women of the White House, where she performed as former First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump. Ebony has also explored the world of directing, working as the director for the cabaret I’m Yours, Maddy and as co-director for the physical theatre production Moments.
