










Elysia Janssen
Elysia Janssen is a Melbourne-based actor working across screen, theatre, and film. With experience in both independent and award-winning productions—and a background spanning comedy, drama, and experimental theatre—she brings nuance and boldness to every role.
Elysia recently starred in the award-winning feature Mercy of Others, which won Best Feature at the Austin Lift-Off Global Network. Other screen credits include Dress to Impress (2023), Foxes in Love (2022), and The Safe Place (2021). She also featured in a national campaign for Deakin University.
On stage, Elysia has become a familiar face on the Australian festival circuit. She played Egon Spengler in Shakespeare Ghostbusters at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and Newt in Shakespeare Aliens, performing across multiple seasons at Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals. Her performance in Present Laughter with HTC contributed to the show’s six gold VDL Awards, including Best Comedy.
Elysia is passionate about collaborative storytelling, character-driven work, and creating art that balances intelligence with play. She is equally at home in front of the camera or in a black box theatre, and thrives on projects that mix heart with humour
