His background in improvised comedy and theatre lead to a very successful debut season of the play THE WIRELESS at the 2009 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. However the performance aspect of his studies quickly eclipsed everything else and he now concentrates on film and television and performance. While refining his technique and learning skills at university and other workshops, Daniel has been gaining experience by undertaking as many jobs as he can. He holds a special interest in film and has already clocked up 11 films, 2 theatre productions, 2 music videos and 1 television commercial since March this year. As well as acting, Joshua has written and directed half a dozen shows, taught Drama and Film Skills at Gresham’s School and worked as stage manager and lighting operator for the Auden Theatre in Norfolk.
