Murray trained at W.A Academy Of Performing Arts. He has worked extensively in theatre film TV and radio. He teaches regularly at the various theatre arts institutions and has also directed many theatre productions including the critically acclaimed "A Strong Left Hand". Murray has worked with Black Swan Theatre in many shows like Merry Go Round In The Sea, Tourmaline and Twelfth Night. In 1966 Murray was awarded Best Actor Short Film at the WAFTI Awards and also Melbourne University Short Film Awards(Watch My Shorts) for his work in the film "STRUCK". Murray has had featured roles in all the TV series that have been produced in WA in the last seven years.
